MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta unveiled Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, a new set of sophisticated artificial intelligence models designed for software development, AI agents, and complex daily tasks. The company developed these systems to assist with activities such as leases, insurance claims, financial data, and application creation. Meta launched Muse Wonder via its Model API and Muse Code on October 12, with Muse Wonder Full becoming accessible to users with eligible Muse Code subscriptions.

These models are tailored for multi-step tasks rather than simple, single-answer queries. Muse Wonder can organize workflows, utilize digital tools, and break down large projects into smaller, specialized sub-agents. They operate seamlessly across browsers, desktop applications, and mobile platforms. Designed to recover from potential failures, the models support context windows of approximately one million tokens, enabling them to handle extensive documents, codebases, and other sizable materials within a single session.
Meta also introduced Active Memory and Active Focus alongside the Wonder models. Active Memory retains important details from previous conversations and retrieves them when necessary. Active Focus ensures an AI agent can persist through challenging problems and adapt its approach following errors. The models can ask for clarification if instructions lack crucial information and seek confirmation before executing sensitive or critical actions. These features aim to facilitate longer, uninterrupted work sessions without frequent task restarts.
Enhanced agent and coding functionalities with new models
The cost for Muse Wonder is $4 per million input tokens via the Meta Model API. Output costs are set at $20 per million tokens, while cached input tokens are priced at $0.20 per million. Instead of separate API pricing, Meta offers Muse Wonder Full through paid Muse Code plans. The Power Usage plan is priced at $50 per month, and the Maximum Usage plan, aimed at developers with more intensive coding needs, costs $200 per month.
Meta shared benchmark results focusing on software engineering, coding agents, and lengthy technical tasks, highlighting tests such as DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon. The company also assessed both models at maximum reasoning effort, awarding Muse Wonder an Intelligence Index score of 52 and Muse Wonder Full a score of 56. These results surpass Meta’s earlier Muse Spark models on the evaluator’s scale, demonstrating a clear improvement in reasoning capabilities.
Security and privacy measures accompany the rollout
Meta states that the Wonder models incorporate protections for privacy, harmful requests, and cybersecurity. They are trained to withhold private information unless authorized by the user and to decline requests involving harmful activities while maintaining essential security functions. Developers can leverage these models to identify vulnerabilities in their own software and enhance security measures. Meta is evaluating its most advanced AI systems under its Superintelligence Scaling Framework and plans to publish additional details regarding safety testing for the new models.
This release follows a major restructuring of Meta’s artificial intelligence efforts that began approximately 14 months ago. The company states that Muse Wonder builds upon the technical foundations established by Muse Spark. Development was carried out using computing resources at Meta’s Prometheus data center. The company also intends to integrate Muse Wonder technology into additional features within the Muse ecosystem, starting with subscribers. While developers can already access Muse Wonder, Muse Wonder Full remains available through qualifying Muse Code subscription plans.
