Seventh generation BMW M5 combines luxury and power
The BMW M5 is set to redefine the high-performance sedan market as it launches into its seventh generation, marking a significant milestone with the integration of an electrified drive system for the first time in its 40-year storied history. The new M5 is powered by a bespoke version of the M HYBRID system, achieving a formidable 727 horsepower and a peak torque of 737 lb-ft. This innovative combination of a high-revving V8 engine equipped with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor enables the sedan to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds.

It delivers a combined output of 585 horsepower from the combustion engine and 197 horsepower from the electric motor.
